BESS Steinach

We are pleased to be implementing another pioneering battery storage project in Steinach, St. Gallen. As general contractor, we are realizing a stationary energy storage system with a power output of 5.4 MV and a capacity of 13.8 MWh. The system will be built using components from SMA and BYD, two established partners in the field of battery and inverter technology.

We would like to thank the Steinach electricity supplier and the Morgental wastewater association for their trust.

Commissioning is planned for May/June 2026.The battery storage system will make an important contribution to grid stability and flexible energy supply in the region – a further step towards a sustainable and secure energy future.
